Store Policy

Apex Armament LLC
Effective date: October 9, 2026

This Store Policy covers purchases from Apex Armament LLC ("Apex Armament," "we," "us"), both online at https://www.apexarmamentllc.com and in person at our Bridgewater, Massachusetts shop. It explains payments, pickup, refunds, returns, and cancellations for each type of purchase. By paying, booking, or placing an order, you agree to this policy, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.

We operate by appointment only at 992 Bedford Street, Unit M-3, Bridgewater, MA 02324.

ALL SALES FINAL: No Refunds or Returns

All sales are final. We do not give refunds or accept returns on any purchase. This applies to firearms, ammunition, accessories, merchandise, stickers, Give Back merchandise packages, training classes and private lessons, deposits, transfer fees, and services. Please review your purchase carefully before you pay.

The only exceptions are:

  1. Classes we cancel: if Apex Armament cancels a class, you may reschedule or receive a refund (see Section 5).
  2. Firearm transfers that are denied or cannot legally be completed: the firearm purchase price is refunded, minus the $50 transfer fee (see Section 6).
  3. Defective or not-as-described items: we will exchange, repair, or refund as required by law.
  4. Anything else required by law. For example, if we cancel an order ourselves (such as for a pricing error) or cannot fulfill a special order, we will refund the amount you paid.

Legal Requirements for Firearm Sales & Transfers

Every firearm sale and transfer at Apex Armament follows all applicable federal, state, and local laws. These include the federal Gun Control Act (GCA), the National Firearms Act (NFA), and ATF regulations, as well as Massachusetts General Laws chapter 140 and the Massachusetts Attorney General's firearms regulations. If the law changes, the current law applies even if this policy has not yet been updated.

  • Eligibility and age. You must be legally eligible to buy and possess the item and must not be a prohibited person under federal or state law. You must be 21 or older for handguns and for any firearm that requires a Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC). You must be 18 or older for rifles and shotguns, where the law allows them to be purchased with a Firearms Identification Card (FID).
  • ID and license. You must show a valid, government-issued photo ID with your current address. Massachusetts residents must also show a current Massachusetts LTC or FID (or any other license the law requires) that covers the item being purchased.
  • Massachusetts compliance. Handguns must be on the Massachusetts Approved Firearms Roster and meet the Attorney General's handgun regulations (940 CMR 16.00). We cannot sell or transfer items that Massachusetts law restricts, such as "assault-style firearms" (unless lawfully grandfathered and transferable) and large-capacity feeding devices.
  • Paperwork and background checks. You must complete ATF Form 4473 truthfully and in person, and pass a federal (FBI NICS) background check and any Massachusetts background check or license verification the law requires. We report each transfer to Massachusetts as required (MIRCS/FA-10).
  • Our right to refuse. We may refuse or delay any sale or transfer at our discretion. This includes any case where we suspect a straw purchase. Buying a firearm for someone else who is not the actual buyer is a federal felony.
  • Non-residents. We sell and transfer handguns only to Massachusetts residents. Rifles and shotguns may be transferred to non-residents only where the transfer is lawful in both Massachusetts and the buyer's home state, and the buyer holds any license Massachusetts requires. Otherwise, the firearm must be shipped to a licensed dealer (FFL) in the buyer's home state, where the law allows.
  • Suppressors and NFA items. Under Apex Armament policy, suppressors and other NFA items are sold only to law enforcement agencies and qualified government contractors, with required documentation and ATF approval. We do not sell suppressors or NFA items to private individuals.
  • Ammunition. Ammunition purchases require a proper Massachusetts license (LTC or FID) and are subject to federal age limits: 21+ for handgun ammunition and 18+ for rifle and shotgun ammunition.
  • No shipping to consumers. Firearms are never shipped to consumers. We ship a firearm only to another FFL, and only where the law allows.
  • Your responsibility. After you take possession, you are responsible for following all laws on transporting, storing, and possessing firearms and ammunition, including the Massachusetts safe-storage law.
  • Not legal advice. This policy is general information, not legal advice. If you have questions about your own eligibility or legal obligations, consult a licensed attorney.

1. What We Sell Online

Our online checkout is used only for:

  1. Firearms training classes and private lessons; and
  2. Apex-branded merchandise, including Give Back merchandise packages.

Firearms, ammunition, suppressors, and other regulated items are not sold through online checkout and are never shipped to consumers. You can buy them only in person at our shop, after completing all legal requirements (see "Legal Requirements for Firearm Sales & Transfers" above). Special-order deposits for regulated items are arranged in person or by email.

2. Payments and Security

  • Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Cash is also accepted in store.
  • Secure checkout: online payments are made on our payment processor's secure, encrypted (HTTPS) hosted payment page. The processor is PCI DSS compliant. Your full card number goes directly to the processor and is never stored by Apex Armament.
  • Statement name: charges appear on your card statement as "APEX ARMAMENT LLC." The exact wording may vary slightly depending on your card issuer.
  • Prices and tax: prices are in U.S. dollars. Applicable Massachusetts sales tax is added where required. If a price is listed in error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full (see our Terms of Use).
  • Receipts: you will receive an emailed receipt or confirmation for every online payment. Keep it, because you will need it for pickup and class check-in.

3. Shipping and Pickup

  • Merchandise is pickup only, by appointment, at our Bridgewater shop. We do not ship merchandise.
  • To pick up, bring your order confirmation (printed or on your phone) and a photo ID that matches the name on the order.
  • Schedule pickup in person or by emailing apexarmamentllc@gmail.com.
  • Firearms are never shipped to consumers. We will ship a firearm only to another federally licensed dealer (FFL), and only where the law allows.
  • Ammunition is not shipped. It is sold in person only.

4. Merchandise (Including Give Back Packages)

Sizes. You choose your apparel size and style when you pick up your order. Sizes are subject to availability. If your size is out of stock, we will offer another size or style, or hold the item for you until it is restocked.

Pickup deadline and forfeiture.

  • Give Back packages: you must pick up within 30 days after the drawing for the month of purchase, as stated in the Official Rules.
  • Other merchandise: you must pick up within 30 days of purchase.

Merchandise not picked up by the deadline is forfeited without refund. For Give Back packages, forfeiting the merchandise does not affect the bonus entries from that purchase.

No refunds or returns. All merchandise and sticker sales are final. Items that are defective or not as described will be handled as required by law.

Give Back packages: special rules. These rules match the Give Back Official Rules (Sections 3.2, 3.3, and 13):

  • Bonus entries come with the merchandise at 1 entry per $50 of merchandise price. Entries are never sold on their own and have no cash value.
  • Entries are tied to the purchase, and Give Back packages are not refundable. All sales are final.
  • If a refund is ever required by law before the drawing, the bonus entries from that order are removed. After the drawing, entries cannot be refunded, reversed, or moved to another drawing, and the drawing result does not change.
  • A chargeback or payment dispute voids all bonus entries from that order and may disqualify the purchaser.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A free mail-in entry is available (1 per person per drawing) as described in the Official Rules. The Sweepstakes is open to legal U.S. residents 21 or older. See the Official Rules at https://www.apexarmamentllc.com/giveaway-rules for full details. If this Store Policy and the Official Rules ever conflict about the Sweepstakes, the Official Rules control.

5. Training Classes and Private Lessons

Booking and payment. Classes are paid in full when you book, unless a deposit option is shown. Your seat is confirmed once payment goes through and you receive a confirmation email.

Eligibility.

  • Students must be 18 or older.
  • Students must not be prohibited by law from possessing firearms or ammunition.
  • Every student must show photo ID at check-in and sign our Training Acknowledgment, Assumption of Risk, and Release before class starts.

All class payments are final. Class fees and deposits are non-refundable, and classes cannot be rescheduled by the student. The only exception is a class we cancel (see "Cancellations by us" below).

  • No-show, or arriving more than 15 minutes late: fee forfeited. No refund or reschedule.

Substitutions. You may send another eligible person in your place at no charge, if you tell us before class starts.

Cancellations by us. If we cancel or postpone a class (for example, low enrollment, instructor illness, range closure, or unsafe weather), you choose either a full refund or a free reschedule to another date.

Removal from class. Instructors may remove any student who ignores safety rules, appears impaired, is disruptive, or turns out to be ineligible. Removal for these reasons is not refunded.

Equipment. We provide firearms, ammunition, eye and ear protection, and needed equipment unless the class listing says otherwise. If you bring your own firearm, it must be lawfully possessed, transported unloaded and secured as Massachusetts law requires, and inspected by the instructor before use.

Licensing courses (Massachusetts LTC/FID). We issue a certificate of completion only if you complete the entire course, including any required live-fire or proficiency part. A certificate does not guarantee that a license will be issued. The licensing authority makes all license decisions, and you are responsible for meeting every application requirement.

Refund timing. When a refund applies (for example, a class we cancel), it goes back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

6. Firearm Sales and Transfers (In Person Only)

All firearm sales and transfers are in person only and must meet every item in "Legal Requirements for Firearm Sales & Transfers" near the top of this policy. We may refuse or delay any sale or transfer at our discretion.

Background check delays. If NICS gives a "delayed" response, we will wait for a final "proceed" before transferring. If no final response comes within 30 days, the check expires, and a new Form 4473 and background check are required.

Denials. If your background check is denied, or the transfer otherwise cannot legally be completed, we cannot transfer the firearm to you.

  • We will refund the firearm purchase price, minus the $50 transfer fee.
  • The transfer fee is not refunded after a denial.
  • You may appeal a denial directly with the FBI NICS Section. We cannot hold a firearm indefinitely while an appeal is pending. We will hold the firearm for 30 days from the denial.

Incoming transfers (a firearm you bought elsewhere and had shipped to us).

  • Our transfer fee is $50 per firearm. It is due before the transfer and is non-refundable, including if the transfer is denied or cannot be completed.
  • If the firearm is not legal to transfer in Massachusetts, we will hold it for return shipment to the seller at your expense. We cannot release it to you.
  • Firearms not picked up within 30 days of arrival may be charged storage at $5 per day.

Special orders. Special orders require a deposit of 25%. The deposit is non-refundable once we place the order with the supplier. If a background check is denied or the transfer cannot legally be completed, see Denials above.

Returns. All firearm sales are final. A transferred firearm cannot be returned for a refund. Defects are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and we will help you with the warranty process; defective or not-as-described items are otherwise handled as required by law. Any return of a firearm to us is a new, separate transaction that follows all record-keeping and legal requirements.

Ammunition. Ammunition is sold in person only, subject to the license and age requirements above. All ammunition sales are final.

Suppressors and NFA items. Sold only to law enforcement agencies and qualified government contractors, as described above. We do not sell suppressors or NFA items to private individuals.

7. Accessories, Optics, and Other In-Store Products

  • All sales are final. We do not accept returns or give refunds on accessories, optics, lights, electronics, or other in-store products, whether opened or unopened.
  • Defective or not-as-described items will be exchanged, repaired, or refunded as required by law. Manufacturer warranties also apply, and we will help you with the warranty process.

8. Gunsmithing, Maintenance, and Custom Builds

  • Estimates are given before work begins. We will contact you for approval before going over the estimate.
  • Custom builds need a deposit of 50%. The deposit is non-refundable.
  • Parts: once ordered or installed, parts are non-refundable.
  • Services are non-refundable once performed.
  • Pickup: firearms left for service must be picked up within 30 days after we notify you that the work is done. Returning a firearm after service may require ID and licensing verification under the law.

9. Refunds: General Rules

  • All sales are final. Refunds are given only under the exceptions listed at the top of this policy.
  • When a refund applies, it goes to the original payment method only, within 5 to 10 business days. Your card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.
  • We do not give cash refunds for card purchases.

10. Payment Disputes

If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us first. We will work to resolve it quickly. If you file a chargeback, we may provide your order records, signed forms, and this policy to your card issuer. A chargeback voids any Give Back bonus entries from that order.

11. Customer Service

Contact us in person or by email. We respond to messages within 1 to 2 business days.
